Kanso

Privacy Policy

Kanso has no accounts and no backend servers. Your resume stays in the current device browser and is never uploaded anywhere.

Where does your resume live?

Only in the current device browser localStorage: resume content and style settings in kanso-v1, the ID photo separately in kanso-photo-v1, and the language preference in kanso-locale-v1. No cookies are used. That means nothing syncs across devices or browsers; clearing browser data deletes the resume with it. Use the in-editor backup feature to export a backup file before switching devices.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Editing, live preview, and PDF export all run inside your browser: layout is computed on the page, the PDF is rendered in a Web Worker, and export downloads directly — there is no upload endpoint. Font subsets needed for export (Latin around 59 KB, CJK around 1.5 MB) are fetched on demand from this site; only font files are read, your content is never sent.

Analytics & hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers + Static Assets. Cloudflare processes access logs under its own policy, see Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Our own code includes no third-party analytics, ads, or trackers; however the Cloudflare hosting layer may inject its own Web Analytics beacon (cloudflareinsights.com, cookieless) for real browser visits to measure basic traffic — that part lives outside our code and beyond our control.

How do I delete my data?

The data only exists in your browser: clearing this site browser data (or clicking Restore sample in the editor to overwrite the current content) deletes everything. There are no server-side copies to remove, and nothing to ask us for.
